I am from St. Louis, Missouri. I support students in underprivileged, rural communities through Journey of Hope. In addition, I am passionate about vocal music and sharing the art of preparing tea.
I am president and co-founder of Journey of Hope, a nonprofit organization that supports children in poor rural communities in China. Kids in these communities often lack parental figures and financial resources. Journey of Hope supports their educations through paying for tuitions and other basic needs. I teach others how to prepare tea through the traditional Chinese tea ceremony. Come check out this video of one of my demonstrations during Chinese Culture Days at the Missouri Botanical Garden. :)
